Introducing a tea specially made for us by our favourites at Nilgiri! Jasmine green tea is one of the most popular teas in the world, the Chinese producers follow a rigorous scenting method, that is covering the tea with fresh jasmine buds and leaving them overnight, they then remove it every morning and the process is repeated for a few days till the optimum flavour and aroma is achieved. This is a time consuming process which requires top quality fresh jasmine buds apart from the hardwork of removing every bud in the morning for several days. Most of the jasmine green teas made in India use synthetic jasmine oils, while that saves a lot of effort, the flavour feels artificial and nowhere near the real deal. So, we waiting till we could commission a batch and got this very special jasmine green tea made in Nilgiri. A special thanks to our favourite tea makers there for helping us do this! This tea, like our jasmine black, uses OP grade green tea from Nilgiri.

The aroma is a mix of jasmine and usual fruity and floral notes Nilgiri green teas have to offer, mangoes and white flowers. The liquor offers notes of jasmine of course, but the subtlety of it makes it stand out. The base green tea has mosambi and mango notes to offer and it is very comforting to have that balance along with the soothing jasmine note. A "comfy cup" is what would describe this tea best! It is another tea which pair well with tea time snacks as well as with your favourite Chinese food!
