Unveiling the most exquisite "needle" tea on our shop, the Nilgiri Candy Needle from Monsoon 2024 harvest. Harvested at 6400 feet, this extordinary gem comes from the top secret processing facility at the estate, resulting in this precious batch of unopened bud tea. This estate and facility is straight from the future and can get intense flavours from even zero percent oxidation level and you wont believe they can mimic seasons too!
The dry leaf smells like lemon candy with a complex fruity background. When placed on the heated ware, the fruity notes come to the foreground with hints of candied pears. The first sip you take will remind you of tamarind sugar candy which transforms into notes of oranges and lemons. As you sip further, floral note of acacia flower comes along nicely with honey, making the liquor feel like a nectar. There is a very faint but just the right amount of clove and mint on the finish. An incredibly complex liquor for the category, this one also diversifies on the fruit front, with notes of raw jujube, pineapples and pears dancing on your tongue. You can enjoy notes of lemon cake, which this tea goes very well with! We hope you enjoy the latest edition of our candy series!
