Presenting one of the most unique concepts we have come across, a blended oolong. But, from the same season and garden. So how is this a blend? Because it is made by three tea makers, each doing their thing! The rolling is also very different for each of them and you can see that in the photo as well! And on top of it, there's also a little of Arunachal Platinum Needles in the blend, which was made by one of these three craftswomen! And like the Platinum Needles, this too was harvested at an altitude of 4000 feet.
The dry leaf has a sweet aroma, resembling passionfruit and citrus blossoms. When placed on the heated ware, the fruity aroma of passionfruit and oranges take the centerstage with a toasty background, resembling fire roasted corn. The first sip greets you with notes of passionfruit. With further sips, you notice notes of clove and nutmeg in the background. There is a faint hint of eucalyptus as well. The fruity character evolves into dried apricots and orange peel. There is a touch of dryness on the finish as well, which makes the liquor incredibly refreshing.
