Harvested in the first week of February 2025, this is yet another marvelous batch from the famed "winter frost" harvest. Although we do not believe in the gimmick of frost teas(actual frost days are 2 or 3 days every year), the winter harvest in Nilgiri always aims for perfection and achieves it without a blip. This one is no exception, clean and delicious white tea which preserves the freshness of the leaves and the terroir.

The dry leaves smell sweet with a hint of gooseberry sweet preserve. When placed on the heated ware, the same sweetness intensifies. As you have your first sip, you are greeted with notes of pineapple and mosambi. The sweetness of fruits is also complimented by a sugary note. As the liquor cools down, you can feel a hint of white flowers along with the gooseberry sweet preserve. The green notes feature armenian cucumber, adding a beautiful freshness to the liquor. There is a hint of saffron adding another layer of soft sweetness to the brew. All these notes come together to make a remarkable cup of tea. We believe this is the best zero oxidation white tea available in India since the first time we had this in 2021 and our belief still stands strong. We hope you enjoy another beautiful batch of them gem this year.
