Introducing the 2025 version of the famous Winter Frost Green Tea from The Nilgiris. We wait for this tea to deliver a punchy yet sweet and fruity tea and it always delivers! The estate making this tea runs through a steep valley ranging from 5400 to 6900 feet. We believe the tea makers in Nilgiris have completely aced their green tea technique and nowhere else in India we get such exquisitely crafted greens!
The dry leaf has a sweet and fruity aroma, resembling green apple. When placed on the heated ware, the aroma will show you the extent of grassy it will get, just enough to keep it refreshing. On your first sip, you notice notes of green apple and custard apple. The freshly cut grass note appears on further and bigger sips, complimenting the fruity notes. You can also notice some notes of pear and green grapes as the tea cools down. The aftertaste is fruity, resembling green grapes and mosambi. This is one of those teas with a really long aftertaste, especially when brewed gong fu style, we recommend you try this that way at least once!
