Introducing a gem from last year, the 2024 Bihar Autumn Black Tea. Ticks all the malty black tea boxes and is as consistent as ever. The autumn harvest is our favourite from the region as it strikes the perfect balance between sweetness, maltyness and strength.

The dry leaves have a sweet and malty aroma, you are greeted with notes of jaggery and caramel as soon as you open the packet. When placed on the heated ware, you get those same sweet dry leaf notes along with a milky texture and sweetness. The infusion greets you with notes of jaggery and malt, followed by just a touch of astringency. On further sips, you get notes of jaggery payasam, which is an Indian confectionery made of coconut milk and jaggery. Once it cools down a little, you can experience the woody notes as well. It is a well balanced tea and fans of malty and sweet teas are going to enjoy this a lot.
