Introducing the third and final addition to our Bihar collection, the 2022 Bihar First Flush Black Tea.
This is one of the simplest blacks from the region, plain old malty and sweet with a touch of astringency. The dry leaf has a jaggery like aroma. The first infusion has notes of malt and honey, with just a little bit of astringency. The second infusion has a jaggery like sweetness with notes of wet wood. The third has hints of spices with the dominant notes from previous infusions staying along. As we initially mentioned, this tea is a gem because of its simplicity and we are sure you would love to enjoy a big mug of it before a hectic day or after it!
